Myk Tummolo
Myk is a DJ, musician and maker of magick based in NYC.
He is the co-founder of legendary global bass collective Cumba Mela, founder of JunXion NYC and producer of Ecstatic Dance NYC, fine purveyor of global bass, transnational grooves and magical happenings.
DRĖĖĖMY
DRĖĖĖMY is an Indigenous Egyptian DJ, music producer, vocalist, poet, multi-instrumentalist, sound designer, curator, and activist. Their music is described as organic electronica, which combines ancient sounds with futuristic technologies. Their work is inspired by the medicinal power of sound and movement, and is designed to create interactive spaces for personal revelation and collective celebration. Some say their sound is ethereal and transcendent, and that they have a diverse production and performance skillset.
Omar Aena
Omar Aena is a DJ, community organizer and cultural storyteller based in New York City. He is the founder of Dance Beyond, a community that hosts Ecstatic Dance festivals and retreats, and LILA, a project that includes documentary films, spiritual tours, and gatherings focused on preserving and celebrating traditional ecstatic music and dance cultures from around the world.
As a DJ, he is known for his unique ability to bridge traditional songs of the past with electronic sounds of the present, with a particular focus on music from his Middle Eastern roots. He has played at Ecstatic Dances, festivals and local events all around the world including Judson Church, NuBlu NYC, Unifier Festival and more.
Atasiea Ferguson
Atasiea is a Theta Healer, Reiki Master, Bodyworker, Yogi, Minister, Dancing Freedom Facilitator, Actor, Dancer, Capoeirista, and the Co-Founder/ Spiritual Director of Ecstatic Dance Los Angeles.
Atasiea- is pronounced (‘Ah-tah-see-ay’). It means- 'Oneness'.
He was born & raised in Oakland California, trained there, and in Los Angeles, Brazil, UK, and Central America. He co-founded and co-produces Ecstatic Dance Los Angeles- an all ages sober conscious dance celebration held weekly in LA.
He has a special interest in making holistic healing experiences more accessible to People of the Global Majority aka BIPOC folks who are often underrepresented in his community & industry.
Keena Maya
The depths of Keena Maya's sound are incantations, drawing us down into our roots, grounding us into our bodies, and invoking the incandescent deity within us to rise. Her work lies at the intersection of somatic embodiment, holistic experience design, herbal craft, mutual care, ceremony, and dance. She passionately creates intentional, ritualistic dance & meditation experiences. Embodiment over substances to awaken deep states of being and connecting with ourselves, each other, and the beyond human world. She is half of the live ritual bass project b e i n g - s o u n d, a resident DJ of Ecstatic Dance NYC, and a pillar of the feminine-powered Collective BAE. Keena Maya is, so that we may become.
